The BarNone K9 Hybrid Program

Real-world training for real-world life. My Hybrid Program combines professional training, owner education, and real-world exposure to create lasting results. Every dog receives a customized training plan, hands-on coaching, and a seamless transition back home. Limited to just 2–3 dogs at a time.

Is the Hybrid Program Right for You?

The Hybrid Program is designed for owners who want more than a dog that simply follows commands. It’s for people who want a dog they can confidently live life with.

This program may be a good fit if your dog struggles with reactivity, anxiety, impulse control, confidence, poor manners, or simply needs more structure and guidance.

It’s also for owners who understand that lasting results require participation. I’ll do the heavy lifting during training, but I’ll also teach you how to communicate with your dog, maintain the structure we’ve built, and continue progressing long after the program ends.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s a better relationship, better behavior, and more freedom to enjoy life with your dog.

This May NOT Be Right for You If…

  • You’re looking for a quick fix without changing anything at home.
  • You want someone to train your dog but don’t want to participate in the process.
  • Your only goal is obedience commands rather than improving your dog’s overall behavior.
  • You aren’t willing to provide consistency, structure, and follow-through after your dog comes home.

I can build the foundation, but long-term success requires us to work as a team.

What Life With Your Dog Can Look Like

The goal of training isn’t to create a dog that simply performs commands. It’s to make everyday life together easier, calmer, and more enjoyable.

Imagine walking through your neighborhood without constantly fighting the leash. Having friends or family over without chaos. Taking your dog into public without spending the entire time managing their behavior. Being able to relax together at home instead of constantly correcting, redirecting, or worrying about what happens next.

Training also gives you something just as important: clarity. You’ll understand how to communicate with your dog, how to respond when problems arise, and how to continue building on what we’ve accomplished together.

Your dog doesn’t need to be perfect. The goal is a dog you understand, can confidently lead, and genuinely enjoy sharing your life with.

More freedom. Less frustration. A better relationship with your dog.

What Are You Really Investing In?

You’re not investing in a list of commands. You’re investing in what life with your dog can look like after training.

More freedom to take your dog places. More confidence when guests come over. Calmer walks. Better communication. Clearer expectations. And a dog that is easier and more enjoyable to live with.

The Hybrid Program combines professional training with owner education because lasting results require both. I’ll build the foundation with your dog, then teach you how to maintain and continue that progress at home.

The goal is not just a better-trained dog. It’s a better life with your dog.

What You Should Know Before Getting Started

Dog training is not a magic reset button. Your dog will learn new skills, expectations, and patterns of behavior during the program—but maintaining those results requires consistency after your dog comes home.

That’s exactly why owner education is built into the Hybrid Program. I don’t want to simply hand you back a trained dog. I want you to understand how and why the training works, how to communicate clearly with your dog, and what to do when challenges arise.

Every dog is different, and progress will look different for every dog. I will be straightforward with you about what I believe is realistic for your dog rather than promising results simply to make a sale.

And when the program ends, you’re not on your own. Lifetime support is included so you have someone to turn to when you need help.

HOW THE HYBRID PROGRAM WORKS

The Hybrid Program is different from a traditional board-and-train because you’re part of the process. We build the training with your dog, teach you how and why it works, and then transfer those skills into your home, routines, and everyday life.

1. YOUR DOG BEGINS TRAINING WITH ME

Your dog begins the program living and training with me while I build the foundation—communication, structure, behavior, confidence, and real-world reliability.

You’re welcome to join me during training outings so you can see the process firsthand and begin understanding how the training works in real-life situations.

2. REAL-WORLD TRAINING & PROGRESS

Training doesn’t happen in a bubble. Throughout the program, I work with your dog in the environments and situations they’ll encounter in everyday life—from neighborhoods and parks to stores, restaurants, and other public settings.

As your dog progresses, I continue building better behavior, clearer communication, confidence, neutrality, and reliability around real-world distractions.

3. YOU BECOME PART OF THE TRAINING

Around the midpoint to final third of the program, we begin your private lessons. This is where I teach you how to communicate with your dog, use the training properly, and understand the structure and expectations I’ve established.

The goal is not to simply hand you back a trained dog. It’s to make sure you have the knowledge and skills to continue the training successfully when your dog comes home.

4. WE PREPARE FOR THE TRANSITION HOME

As your dog gets closer to going home, the focus shifts toward making sure you’re prepared to take over. We continue your private lessons so you can practice the same communication, structure, and expectations your dog has learned throughout the program.

By go-home day, you won’t be starting from scratch—you’ll already have experience working with your dog and a clear understanding of how to continue the progress we’ve built.

5. THE PROGRAM ENDS. THE SUPPORT DOESN’T.

Once your dog comes home, you’re not on your own. We continue working together through your remaining private lessons to help transfer the training into your home, routines, and everyday life.

And after those lessons are complete, you still have lifetime support. If questions or challenges come up down the road, I’m here to help you work through them.
