Meet Robi

Hi, I’m Robi Taylor, owner and founder of BarNone K9.

Like many dog owners, my journey into training began with my own dog, Nala. What started as frustration and a desire to better understand my dog quickly became an obsession with learning. I spent countless hours studying canine behavior, volunteering at local shelters, apprenticing under experienced trainers, and working alongside police K9 teams. The more I learned, the more I realized that helping dogs wasn’t just a hobby—it was what I wanted to dedicate my life to.

As I was concluding my service in the United States Air Force, I knew exactly what path I wanted to pursue. I enrolled at Starmark Academy in Hutto, Texas, one of the most respected dog training schools in the country. During my apprenticeship, I had the opportunity to work with hundreds of dogs while gaining experience in obedience, behavior modification, agility, dock diving, nosework, trick training, and advanced canine communication.

After returning to Las Vegas, I continued expanding my experience and education while working with dogs from all backgrounds, breeds, and behavioral challenges. It quickly became clear that many training programs focused on shortcuts and obedience commands rather than creating lasting behavioral change. I founded BarNone K9 with a different goal: helping owners build better relationships with their dogs through communication, accountability, and real-world training.

Today, BarNone K9 specializes in customized training programs designed to help dogs and owners succeed in everyday life. Rather than focusing solely on obedience, my approach emphasizes behavior, mindset, neutrality, and practical skills that transfer into the real world.

Throughout my career, I have continued pursuing advanced education, attending seminars, studying canine behavior, and working with a wide variety of dogs. Along the way, I had the honor of winning Season 3 of A&E’s America’s Top Dog with my dog Naz and was recently recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 recipient for my contributions to the dog training industry and local community.

Whether I’m working with a fearful dog, a reactive dog, or simply helping an owner create a stronger bond with their companion, my mission remains the same: provide honest guidance, practical training, and lasting results that improve life for both ends of the leash.

I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about my story, and I look forward to helping you and your dog achieve your goals.
